Small Group This Week

The majority vote is to officially move small group back to Thursdays. So we will have our first Small Group of the year this Thursday, January 6th @6:00pm. Since we don't have a study to start right now we are gonna do so small group planning for 2011. Since our group has finally grown to maximum capacity we are going to try and write a small group covenant, which is basically a mission statement for our group. We have a basic guidline for writing the covenant but we want everyones input to go into this. So for homework we want everyone to answer the 2 following questions:

1) What are two goals you would like to see our group complete in 2011?
2) Why are you in a Small Group and what do you personally hope to get out of being in this group?

We will go over these questions as a group on Thursday and use them as a starting point for our covenant. Hope this sounds okay for everyone. Since we need every couple to be at group this week we are going to have Kenzie & Kaitlyn come over to babysit instead of having a couple sit out to watch the kids. Since we have lots of kids and only 2 teenage babysitters if you can find your own source of child care just for this week that would be ideal, but the girls will be here for anyone that can't find a sitter, same deal $5 a child. The menu for the week is the following:

Williams- Soup, Stew or Chili
Burgess'- Veggie Tray
Heaths- Corn Bread
Poe's- Dessert

If you will not be here this week please let me know asap and please e-mail me your answers to the questions above. Just in case anyone forgot we are back meeting at our house again so don't go to the Altman's cause no one will be there. If you have any questions please let myself or Brandon know, otherwise we will see you all Thursday!
