Hello everyone, sorry it's been so long but with the chaos of Christmas I haven't had a second to blog. Well, thank you everyone for attending Brandon and I's second annual Christmas Party. I am so happy we had everyone together again and it was so fun to welcome in a new family to our group. Hopefully the chaos did't scare them off!
So since the holidays are over, which I hope they were great for everyone, we can finally get back to group and start a new study! Okay first things first. As you all know we used to meet on Thursday nights, well we had changed it for the summer to Mondays to help accommodate some peoples schedules. Well Mondays have never been ideal for Brandon and I and it is a major push for Brandon to make it on time, but thanks to an accommodating co-worker we were able to make it work. Well, I am sad to say but the accommodating co-worker no longer works at Brandon's office. So that means it will be impossible for Brandon to get to group before 6:45pm, so we now have 3 choices. 1) Change the meeting time to 7 pm on Monday nights and cut out dinner. 2) Change small group to Thursday nights again. Or 3) Change group to Friday nights. You guys make the choice. I want everyones input and we will take the majority vote and let you all know the final decision. I am so sorry, but as leaders Brandon and I need to be able to be fully ready to lead group instead of racing to get to group and being frazzled by time we actually get there. So Brandon and I would like to hear everyones input by the latest Saturday. If I don't hear from you, Brandon and I will make a final decision based on the votes we have at that point. You can make a post letting us know, e-mail me or call me. I will let you know by Sunday what day and time we will be meeting next week. THanks in advance for everyone's understanding and can't wait to see you all soon. Happy New Years if we don't talk to you before then.

My schedule this next semester is going to be pretty hectic. Mark and I have talked about it and we're going to do our very best to remain as involved with small group as possible. It will be impossible to accomodate us, so we will try our best to make whatever works best for everyone else work for us as well. Mondays and Thursdays I will be at work and may be there until 7pm (or later) depending on whether we have clients scheduled or not. It will always vary from day to day and week to week. Sometimes I'll get out as early as 4:30pm on those days. On Fridays I will be at my internship site until around 6pm. It will take me about thirty minutes to get to this side of town from either place. No matter the day I know this is going to make it difficult for us to be in the child care rotation. If it works for other people, Mark and I may just have to take days when I am able to be there the whole time since I won't often know very far in advance when that will be. I'm sorry our schedule is so complicated right now. I keep telling myself that it's just one more semester...
