Hey Everyone,
Long time no see, it's about time we get back into the swing of small group. Just a couple reminders. Small group, Thursday March 31st will start at normal time, 6:00pm at the Burgess' house. The Heaths will be in charge of child care and we will also have a little Birthday Boy, Birthday Girl and Birthday Mommy to sing to. Happy Birthday, Sam, Cami and Kaitlyn! Please be sure and let Brandon or Myself know if you will not be here this week.
One other quick thing. A prayer request. My Aunt Velma (my Dad's older sister) had surgery this past week to remove a very large tumor between her colon and stomach that they believed could be cancerous. The tumor was attached to a major organ so the surgery was a little more complicated than anticipated. They ended up having to remove about 20 cm of her intestines along with the tumor. They got the results back and she indeed does have cancer and will need to start chemo next week. Please pray for my family in dealing with this terrible news as many of them have taken the news very hard. Also please pray for my Dad who is having a really tough time seeing his sister going through this. His mother died of leukemia at a very young age, 63, which is the exact age of my aunt who is going through this. Thank you so much for all the prayers.
