Hey Guys!
I called the Ronald McDonald House today and scheduled a date for us to go and make dinner for the people staying there. Go ahead and mark your calendars for Thursday March 17, 2010. We are going to use one of our small group nights to do it because that's the day we know everyone will be able to make it. Be thinking of different dinner ideas we could do for 60 people. They asked if we could try and NOT make spaghetti or enchiladas because those dishes are made so often. They do have a grill we can use, they just need to know in advance if we would like to use it so they can make sure to have propane. They have all the supplies to cook the food with and serve it on too. Also, be thinking about if we would like to use our own money to buy the food or if we want to use some of our garage sale money to buy the food. I was thinking that might be easier that way just one or two of us can go to the grocery store and buy all the food. We'll talk more details as the date gets closer, i just wanted to make sure everyone knew the date in advance. Have a great weekend!
Kaitlyn

Oh thanks, Kaitlin, so much for contacting the Ronald McDonald House. I am excited to be able to go and serve over there!! I am to help grocery shop if you need it. Also, are we going to plan just one meal or more since it is for 60 people? I was thinking just one, but wanted to be sure. I will be thinking on that! Let me know if you need anything else...

That sounds like a great idea. We may or may not be out of town Matt's first event of the season is that weekend. I'm not sure what day we will be leaving. If we are going out of town, I can definitely help prep the food / shop earlier in the week
