Sorry again for the delay in setting an official date and invite for the Christmas party, but we have had family in town and the entire Burgess family is sick, so please please forgive me. So here it is....
What: 2nd Annual Burgess Crappy Christmas Sweater Party
When: Friday, December 17th @ 5:00pm
Where: Burgess Casa
I moved the date from Thursday to Friday because it seemed Thursday was kind of a bad day for a few people and we are hoping for 100% turn out so I hope the change in date helps everyone to be able to attend. Brandon and I will be providing the main dish, a Honey baked Ham, and we are asking that everyone bring a side dish. Here are some ideas: Stuffing, Green Bean Casserole, Sweet Potato Casserole, Mashed Potatoes, Salad. Please let me know what you are bringing so we don't end up with two of the same sides. I will be making some peppermint coconut cookie bars for dessert and would love for any other desserts to make a dessert bar so we have lots of options, so if your up for baking please bring something yummy.
We will also be having an ornament gift exchange, so we are asking for each person to bring an ornament to participate, min $5 and max $10. Also make sure and wear your ugliest Christmas attire because we will be voting on the worst outfit and you will win a little prize. So please look your worst, lol. Hope this sounds good and fun for everyone and I really hope to see everyone. We miss you all like crazy! Let me know asap what you plan to bring and if you will be able to make it.
