Hey everyone, hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and all ate way too much food. Unfortunately the Altman family didn't have the best day today. Poor little Olivia woke up the afternoon from her morning nap with a high fever, running nose and a really bad cough. They took her to urgent care and they were pretty rude and didn't do much other than said it was a virus and to keep giving her ibuprofen. Well, they went home ate some thanksgiving dinner and reevaluated the situation and their instincts told them to take her back in. This time they took her to after house pediatrics. The doc took one look at her and said she had croup. They had to give her a steroid shot and sent them home with a nebulizer treatment to keep giving her. Please please send up some prayers for little Liv and her parents.
As for my Grandmother, she seems to be doing a bit better. I am actually writing this post while visiting her in the hospital. They will most likely be releasing her sometime this weekend and from here she will be going to a nursing home for rehab until she gets her strength back. please continue to pray for my mother as she is her sole caregiver and is starting to get very run down physically and emotionally.
I think that just about does it. Have a great holiday weekend and good luck to all you crazy ones who are brave enough to leave the house tomorrow with all the black Friday madness. Good luck this weekend Andrew!
