Small Group for the next Two Weeks & Something to Think About

So I just wanted to update everyone on what was decided for the next couple weeks. Brandon and I will be out of town the next two Thursdays. So since we don't have any official apprentice leaders to take over leading the group while we are gone, we will be taking the next two weeks off from small group. I think that we should all continue to do Sessions 4 & 5 of our James study and that is what we will discuss when we meet again on May 13th. Also a quick reminder, Wednesday, May 5th is first Wednesday service at church. Andrew will be giving the sermon and I think it would be awesome for us to all go and support him. Brandon and I will be gone, but would really appreciate if all of you could try and make it.

Something to Start Thinking About:
As mentioned above, Brandon and I have been leading this group for almost a year now and still do not have any apprentice leaders. An Apprentice Leader is basically a couple that can take over leading the group and coming up with a meeting place and menu whenever Brandon and I cannot make it to small group. Well, as you all know I am 6 months pregnant now and getting closer and closer to having a serious life changing adjustment. Brandon and I are in desperate need of some assistance in leading this small group. I am not sure how many weeks we will be out once our little Baby Girl comes, but my thoughts are probably for around 2-4 weeks depending on how everything goes. My fear is that our group is going to fall apart if we do not have someone step up and take our places while we are out. There is no push for whoever becomes our Apprentice Leaders to branch off and start their own group, we just really need some reliable back up help for when we are gone. So I am asking each couple to start praying very hard about your next step in being a part of this small group. Thank you so much for all each and everyone of you do for Brandon and I as well as this amazing Small Group that you allow us to lead for you all. We appreciate each and everyone of you more than you will ever know. If any of you feel that God is leading you to take this next step and be our second in command, please let me know and Brandon and I would love to get together with you one on one and discuss your next possible role in the Burgess Small Group.
