Hebrews Study Options

Hi everyone,
Mark and I have been going through different books and bible studies to try to find one that we think will be a good match for our group. What we've found is that many are lengthy and go into tremendous detail, not a bad thing, but we just weren't sure how long we wanted this study to last for or how in depth we wanted to go. So, we have two options that we think look promising. The first, Hebrews for Everyone by Tom Wright(http://www.amazon.com/Hebrews-Everyone-Tom-Wright/dp/0664227937/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1269220908&sr=1-14#noop), is a much simpler study. The reviews were good, but there weren't that many. We looked at the first couple of pages and it seems very conversational. It's less than 100 pages. The second option we came up with, The NIV Application Commentary: Hebrews by George Guthrie (http://www.amazon.com/NIV-Application-Commentary-Hebrews-Hardcover/dp/0310493900/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_c#noop), is much more in depth and goes into more detail. We also looked at the first few pages. This book also received great reviews and there were significantly more of them. It's close to 500 pages, so the question of how long and in depth came up with regard to this option. Well, this is what we came up with. We look forward to seeing what you guys have found.
