WARNING: This is going to be a long post....
Brandon and I went to the Doctors yesterday for a pregnancy check up. Everything with baby looks great; however, my doctor is not very happy with how my body is progressing into natural labor, or lack there of. I went in two weeks ago and was dilated to 1, and as of yesterday I am exactly where I was 2 weeks ago, not good. Anyway, the doctor is concerned about waiting too long to induce my labor since I am showing no signs of going into labor on my own and he doesn't want me to run into the same complications that I did with Owen. He is suggesting that we induce my labor next Wednesday, July 21, 2010. As you can imagine, Brandon and I were a little taken back and shocked to be quite honest since we were thinking we still had about 3 weeks left. My doctor is leaving the decision up to Brandon and I and I am supposed to call him by Friday with our final decision of either inducing my labor on July 21st or August 4th. There are pros and cons to each option and Brandon and I are asking for all of you to take some time to pray for us and for guidance in making this decision. My biggest concern about inducing next week is the size of the baby. My doctor said she will probably be right around 5 lbs which for the size of my body is not necessarily a bad thing, but wow that is a tiny baby. I just wish I knew if we go through with this that she will be just perfect and will have no lung issues since it will be about 2.5 weeks before her due date. Anyway, I realize I am venting a little but I have a lot on my plate and lots to think about in the next couple days. Please, please, please keep our family in your prayers and for guidance to make the very best decision for my health and the health of the baby. Thanks so much everyone, I don't know what I would do without all of your support. I will be making a post on Friday with our final decision. Miss you all!

We will be praying for you guys! We know it is a hard decision, but we are praying for God's health and both Vanessa and Baby Autumn's health and safety. Hang in there...
